SNCF (French Railways) has been the first European Railway developing and running high speed rail services. The first TGV (Train a Grande Vitesse) was running at 186mph nearly 26 years ago, and since then many lines have been added, and the high speed network has spread across the whole of Europe.

French train services do not stop here however, and the Interrail France Pass gives you access to TGV, as well as to Corail services and overnight services across France.

The Interrail France Pass is a pass allowing either 3, 4, 6 or 8 days of unlimited travel over the entire French Railways network, SNCF, within a one month period.
|
|
|
|
With the Interrail France Pass the holder has the right to unlimited travel on all SNCF trains for the number of days bought, however if specific seat reservation is made a payment of a small supplement is required.
|
|
Special Passholder fares are payable for travelling on Eurostar from/to London, Thalys services between Paris and Brussels/Amsterdam, Artesia services between France and Italy, Elipsos services between France and Spain, and on Paris-Germany overnight services; the cost of the supplement is variable depending on the service chosen, the accommodation chosen and the route chosen.

Holders of the 'Interrail France Pass' are entitled to special discounts on the following:
- Rail travel in Corsica
- Rail travel on the scenic rail trip between Nice and Digne
- Bateaux Parisiens cruises along the river Seine in Paris
- Seafrance ferry crossing between Dover and Calais
|
|
|
 'Interrail France Pass' holders are also entitled to free travel on the RER Line B between Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris Nord station - please note however that using the railpass for this journey requires the use of one day of the pass!

The Interrail France Pass is personal and not transferable and is available only to people who normally lives in Europe or has lived in Europe, or any of the countries participating in the Interrail offer, for at least six months immediately prior to the first day of travel.
|
|
|
|
Children aged between four and eleven years pay half the adult fares.
|
|
|
|
Completely unused passes can be refunded, less an administration and cancellation fee of 20%, if returned to RailChoice before the start of their validity date. Partially used passes are not refundable, and please be aware that a lost or stolen pass cannot be re-issued or refunded.
|
|
|
|
If travelling on a direct overnight journey that departs after 19:00 hours, the following day's date should be entered.
|
|
|
|
Youth passes are the same as adult passes, but they are only available to young persons under the age of 26.
